U17AAA Coaching Announcement

The U17 AAA Pembina Valley Hawks are proud to announce the coaching staff for the 2024-2025 season.  Ryan Hutton, Graham Leiding, and Bryce Krauter will join the Hawks for the inaugural season.

Ryan Hutton, Head Coach for the U17 AAA Pembina Valley Hawks, brings years of coaching and teaching experience, specializing in high performance coaching, skill development, and youth athletics. His extensive background includes roles with Team Manitoba, Winkler Flyers, the University of Manitoba Bisons, Shaftesbury Titans, and the U15 & U18 AAA Pembina Valley Hawks.  As a certified Hockey Canada Skills Coach, he has experience in skill development at the professional level, working with WHL, USHL, NCAA, AHL, and NHL players. His teaching background enhances his ability to communicate effectively with players, using research-based methods to improve their skills. Dedicated to professional development and collaboration, Ryan stays at the forefront of coaching techniques, making him a valuable part of the Pembina Valley Hawks.  Ryan is excited to begin the season with an experienced and talented coaching staff.

Graham Leiding is a dedicated and experienced hockey coach with a background in both playing and coaching. He has honed his coaching skills with the U15 AAA Pembina Valley Hawks and The RINK Training Centre, where he has been instrumental in developing young athletes. As a player, Graham’s journey includes significant stints as an alumnus of the Pembina Valley Hawks, the Pembina Valley Twisters, Morden Bombers, and Kennesaw State University, showcasing his versatility and commitment to the sport. Graham brings a deep understanding of the game and is happy to be behind the bench again this season.

Bryce Krauter brings a wealth of playing experience to his coaching role, having played junior hockey for the Winkler Flyers and across the MJHL, SJHL, and BCHL, where he earned a scholarship to play for the Salve Regina University Seahawks. Over the past three seasons, he has dedicated himself to developing young athletes as a skills development coach at PV Elite Hockey. Bryce’s passion for the game and ability to connect with players on and off the ice ensure that he not only enhances their skills but also instills a love for the game.
